SITC Logistics held its first-half freight forwarding review meeting in Qingdao on 27 July 2026. The meeting assessed the company’s freight forwarding performance during the first six months of the year. Participants also discussed business priorities for the next stage of development. Attendees included Xue Mingyuan, CEO of SITC; Liu Kecheng, General Manager of the Finance Centre; Lai Zhiyong, President of SITC Logistics; and Guo Ruqian, Assistant President of SITC Logistics. Yin Chunyan, General Manager of Logistics Shanghai, also attended alongside representatives from its branches. SITC targets closer business coordination During the meeting, Xue outlined plans for developing SITC’s freight forwarding operations. He called for closer coordination between the company’s logistics and container shipping businesses, supported by its integrated land and sea network. SITC also plans to expand destination-port services for selected customers. The company will review existing gaps in its service capacity and explore further opportunities for business growth. Liu discussed financial requirements and common operational issues raised by the branches. The discussions aimed to address financial support challenges affecting business development. Destination-port services under review Participants reviewed SITC Logistics’ overall freight forwarding performance during the first half of 2026. The meeting focused on land and sea integration, cooperation between ports and the development of destination-port service capacity. New administrative platform launched The company announced the launch of an internal administrative digital platform during the meeting.
