Maersk has announced changes to the Dragon service proforma within its Asia-Oceania network. The revised schedule will take effect with ONE SAN DIEGO voyage 634S. The vessel is scheduled to depart Qingdao on 21 August 2026 and arrive in Sydney on 15 September 2026. The adjustments follow the launch of the dedicated Qilin service, which connects Shanghai with Sydney and Melbourne. Shanghai removed from Dragon rotation Following the introduction of the Qilin service, Dragon will no longer call at Shanghai. The revised Dragon rotation will be: Qingdao – Ningbo – Hong Kong – Yantian – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane – Qingdao Maersk will also adjust the port windows at Ningbo, Hong Kong and Yantian. The carrier said the changes aim to improve schedule reliability and reduce the effects of weather conditions and terminal disruptions. Brisbane-Shanghai cargo to use transshipment Export cargo moving from Brisbane to Shanghai will now travel through transshipment connections. Depending on customer requirements, shipments will connect through either Hong Kong or Tanjung Pelepas.
