PRS strengthens its presence in Indonesia High-level meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta As part of its continued expansion across Southeast Asia, the PRS representative held an important meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta. The discussion reaffirmed the Polish classification society’s long-term commitment to the Indonesian maritime market. Key representation and high-level discussions Karol Pokora, Business Development Specialist at the PRS Shanghai Branch Office, was invited to the Embassy by Her Excellency Barbara Szymanowska, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Indonesia. Ms. Karolina Ionescu, Second Secretary of the Political and Economic Section of the Embassy, also attended the meeting The discussions focused on opportunities to further strengthen the position of PRS in Indonesia and enhance cooperation between PRS and Polish institutions that support international business development. During the meeting, Mr. Pokora presented the history, capabilities, and international achievements of PRS, highlighting the company’s dynamic growth across Asia in recent years and its long-term vision to expand its activities in Indonesia. Strategic cooperation and diplomatic support The meeting also explored ways to increase the visibility of Polish maritime expertise in Indonesia. This includes future participation in key industry events and closer cooperation with Polish government institutions that promote Polish business abroad. The Embassy expressed its willingness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening PRS presence in Indonesia and to facilitate dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
