Maersk has announced updates to its AC1 and AC2 services connecting Far East Asia with the West Coast of Latin America, aiming to strengthen network coverage and improve service options for customers. The revised services will be introduced in August 2026. AC1 service revised The updated AC1 service will connect Shanghai, Yokohama, Lázaro Cárdenas, Manzanillo (Mexico), Buenaventuraand Balboa. The new rotation is CNSGH – JPYOK – MXZLO – MXLZC – COBUN – PABLB. The revised service will begin with voyage 633E, departing Shanghai on 20 August 2026. Maersk will continue to operate the service on a weekly basis. AC2 service updated Maersk has also revised the AC2 service linking Far East Asia with the West Coast of Latin America. The new rotation will be Ningbo – Tansha – Busan – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Lázaro Cárdenas. The updated service will start with voyage 633E, departing Ningbo on 11 August 2026. The service will maintain a weekly frequency. New West Coast Shuttle Alongside the AC2 changes, Maersk will launch a dedicated West Coast Shuttle. The shuttle will connect Manzanillo (Mexico) with additional ports on the West Coast of South America, expanding the carrier’s regional network.
